Below are some recipes & healthy snacks that I like to eat


1  Popcorn

I LOVE popcorn!!!  So, with Olive oil, Mrs. Dash, and Spike (original, red top), I have the perfect snack that is non-fattening and can be very addicting.  I use an Air Popper for best results.

3 Almonds

Almonds are a great snack.  They are alkaline too.  It is best to soak them for a half hour so the enzymes can be released and the body can assimilate them easier.

5  Dates


Dates have become one of my favorite snacks. It curbs my sweet tooth while giving me some nutritional value.

7  Raisins

I love to eat this fruit on the run, not too much mind you, but it is a great pick me up with a little extra iron and other minerals. Definitely better than a candy bar...

9  Dark Chocolate

I love Chocolate...What woman doesn't? (And many men!) Made from the seed of the cocoa tree, it is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet. Studies show that dark chocolate (not the sugary stuff) can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease.  1-2 ounces in a day is enough to give you the health benefits you need.

2  Salad

Salad is a big part of my food consumption.  I make a wonderful dressing with equal parts Olive oil and Apple cider Vinegar, 1/4 part Honey, 4-5 Garlic cloves and seasonings to taste.  My favorite seasonings to put on there are Mrs. Dash and SPIKE (the red lable) 

4  Cashews

My husband loves cashews, so since they are a healthy snack, I added it to this list. Make sure they are unsalted.

6  Muesli

Muesli is great for breakfast, but I also like to to have it for snack as well.  Add my favorite fruit, nuts, dried fruit, yogurt and Almond milk and I am good to go!

8  Fruit

Fruit is always a good choice.  Apples, grapes, watermelon are my top 3 favorites. Bananas always go into my smoothies (almost always).  Cherries are another fruit I like to eat.  What are your favorites?

Weight Management

 Weight management is not about trying the latest "fad" diet.  It is about eating, as I say, "close to Earth" or "live foods", which are fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds, in their whole state or low cooked. If you stick to this overall program, you will not go wrong because the body will naturally slim down to its natural body weight.  Everybody's tastes are different.  It is your job to find out what you like and don't like.  I am here to guide you along and give you suggestions. I can tell you what has worked for my husband and I.


Master Herbalist

I am a Master Herbalist and have been for over 35 years.  My father is also a Master Herbalist of over 50 years and has a double PH.d. So at an early age I learned about what foods can do if eaten in excess or eaten in the wrong combination.   Eating processed, overcooked foods are not good.  Eating foods with white flour, sugar, "empty" calorie foods or even fast foods are certainly not good.  I have learned this from experience.  My body now knows when I eat these kinds of foods.  It starts to get run down and get sick...

I am not perfect, I have a cookie or even have foods made of white flour.  I just know if I have too much, my body doesn't like it.  I have also learned that many diseases can be caused from emotional traumas, spiritual roots or spiritual blocks.  God has done miracle healings for both my husband and I.  I use herbal formulas on top of eating as well as I can.  Because they work for me, I put them on this website for you to research and then try if you want.  My husband also uses several of these formulas with great success.
