  Watercress (Nasturtium officinale) is a peppery, mineral-rich plant traditionally used to help restore endurance when the body feels depleted.
  Herbalists have used it to stimulate glandular activity, support metabolism, and encourage healthy bile flow—often when digestion feels slow, and the system needs a gentle “wake up.” 
  In traditional practice, watercress is also used in respiratory blends for cough and upper-airway congestion, and externally for skin that looks dull or spotty. When mixed with sea salt, it has been used as a poultice for sore joints.
